06. How’s life going on here

How’s life? I have been 3 months in Seoul, and frankly, I still find that it feels surreal. Sometimes I didn’t realize that I live in the land of drama and idols. Maybe it’s just because most of my social life (well, let’s assume 55% of my social life is happening in my cellphone–whatsapp, kakaotalk, line, instagram, you named it) and I am using bahasa Indonesia there! Okay, I have been using Korean and English in class and lab, but the percentage is about 35:65. If I compare my used language here are Indonesian : Korean : English = 45 : 25 : 30. I also think my English is getting poor here. NO! Okay, so, in conclusion: #1 factor why I feel like I am not living in Korea is because of the language used in my daily life.

How’s life? In the past 3 months, I had been quite busy. Every morning is Korean class, and in the afternoon I had to go to the lab, just study in my desk. Every tuesday was (and still is) overtime day, since all the deadline of my grad school assignment was (/is) wednesday. *all hail deadliner! Btw, my grad school is awesome, and I was really shocked when I knew that my major is really famous in Korea. I had no idea when I first came here, and I really feel that I am blessed and–at the same time–lucky to be accepted in here. In the other hand, that means I really have to work hard!

How’s life? No time for fangirling. No TV for watching music shows and drama. No money to buy CDs or ticket concerts. Too lazy to go across half of Seoul to watch music programmes. LOL. Shame on me, right?
